Our custom Premium Pre-Cruise Package provides you with a seamless way to experience Portland and easily board the ship. The package includes a 1 night stay at the Marriott Residence, located in the heart of downtown and steps away from the dock.
On the morning of your cruise enjoy breakfast and a guided city tour of Portland. Immerse yourself in the maritime heritage of Maine’s largest city-by-the-sea, as you view Longfellow’s boyhood home and the elegant Victorian Mansions that overlook the islands of Casco Bay. Stop at the famous Portland Head Lighthouse, a historic landmark and the most photographed lighthouse in America.

Begin your Maine Coast Cruise - Bar Harbor, Camden and Boothbay in Portland. A region that perfectly blends the present with the past. The Old Port waterfront is made up of working fishing wharves and converted warehouses that now host a variety of eclectic restaurants and shops.
Begin your adventure with a calm afternoon on the sun deck looking for whales and enjoying the stunning natural beauty of Maine’s rugged coast. Cape Elizabeth marks the entrance to the Portland Harbor where you can witness spectacular views as you start your journey with us.
2nd Day
Bar Harbour, ME
The natural beauty that surrounds Bar Harbor is accented with ocean cliffs, glacier‐formed lakes and valleys, stunning mountain vistas, and pine forest. This beauty has been captured in the works of Thomas Cole, Frederic Edwin Church, and many other great artists.
Lobstering is a centuries‐old industry that continues to thrive in Bar Harbor as well as boat building, another traditional business that is an important part of the economy. Though Bar Harbor region is best known for its outdoor activities, it is also home to small museums, cultural attractions, and historically significant landmarks.

Castine / Belfast, ME
Home to the Maine Maritime Academy, Castine offers both spectacular harbor views and an area rife with history. Enjoy the town’s many examples of early 19th-century architecture. Departure Times:
Cruises depart at 1:30 p.m. or earlier if all passengers have arrived. Passengers may board after 11:30 a.m. Crew members will carry your luggage to your stateroom. Passengers are recommended to arrive no later than 12:30 p.m
Shore Excursions:
Every American Cruise Lines shore excursion falls into one of three categories: 1) FEATURED shore excursions are complimentary. Featured excursions are selected excursions which typically are offered daily on Columbia & Snake River, Mississippi River, and Alaska Cruises. 2) PREMIUM shore excursions typically cost between $20 and $70 and may be purchased on board with your Hotel Manager. 3) SIGNATURE shore excursions are particularly unique excursions with limited availability and which often cost more than $70. We recommend that you reserve these excursions in advance with your Cruise Specialist.
Single Occupancy:
Single cabins are available on all ships. If one person chooses to occupy a double stateroom he/she will be charged 150% or 175% of the double occupancy rate depending on the type of stateroom occupied.
Deposits and Payments:
A deposit of $500.00 per person is required to confirm any reservation on trips of 9 nights or less, and a deposit of $900.00 per person is required to confirm any reservation on trips of 10 nights or more. Final payment is due 90 days prior to the sailing date. Any Reservation made within 90 days of the departure date must be accompanied by full payment and is subject to Cancellation Terms.
What to Bring:
Casual sportswear is suggested during the day. Casual country club attire is recommended in the evenings and for dinner. Comfortable walking shoes, windbreaker, sweater for cool evenings, and light rainwear are also recommended items.
