Day 1 ARRIVE IN BUDAPEST, HUNGARY - EMBARKATION
Individual arrival in Budapest with optional airport transfer to your luxurious river cruise ship. This evening, meet your fellow travelers at the Welcome Cocktail Reception followed by dinner. We will be sailing in the evening around Budapest admiring  the illuminated palaces and the castle hill during our dinner.(D)
Day 2 BUDAPEST
This morning, your sightseeing tour takes you to historic Buda Castle from where you can enjoy a splendid view of the twin cities of Buda and Pest spread over both banks of the River. Your tour also features the distinctive Fishermans Bastion, the Royal Palace, St. Stephens Basilica, the famous Heroes Square and more. Your afternoon is free to explore on your own. (B,L,D)
Day 3 BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA - VIENNA, AUSTRIA
Arrival in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. After breakfast join a walking tour of the city's major sights, including the Old Town Hall, the stunning Mirbach Palace and Gothic St. Martins Cathedral. You can also take a tour to taste Slovakian specialties and learn how to make potato stuffed perogies or perhaps you want to hike up the hill to Prague castle. Later, we will continue sailing upstream to Vienna, the music capital of the world. (B,L,D)
Day 4 VIENNA
Admire elegant Vienna, former capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire with its many Baroque and Neo Gothic palaces. You will have two options for different tours. Your first option is a driving sightseeing tour, which will include the impressive Vienna Opera House, the majestic Ringstrasse, the Imperial Place and the historic St. Stephens Cathedral followed by a walking guided tour of the heart of the city. If you prefer a more active sightseeing you can hive a guided bike ride along the Danube. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the city of many Art Nuveau buildings, museums or shops. There is also an option for an other guided bike tour to a nearby monastery. Do not forget to visit one of the hundreds of historical coffee houses Vienna is so famous for and taste some local cakes or delicious strudels. (B,L,D)
Day 5 DURNSTEIN - MELK - GREIN
This morning we reach the scenic Wachai Valley arriving at Weissenkirchen. You will have an option of taking a tour to Durnstein, where you will take a walking tour along the towns medieval cobblestone streets, passing by 16th century town houses and wine taverns. Marvel at the magnificent blue facade of the baroque Stiftskirche. Your tour will also include a wine tasting at a local vintner, where you will enjoy several different wines, presented along with bread, knowledgeable hosts, and plenty of laughter. You may also hike up to the castle ruins where the English king Richard the Lionhearted was held in captivity after his return from the Holly Land. As an alternative, explore the majestic Wachau Valley on a guided bike tour from Durnstein to Melk (capacity controlled). The ship arrives in Melk this afternoon, where you will tour the spectacular Melk Abbey, one of Europe's largest Baroque monasteries and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ship arrives at the charming town of Grein where you will take you up to Greinburg castle for a folklore show and spark;

Day 6 LINZ
This morning the ship arrives in Linz, the second largest city in Austria. You can jopin a walking tour will take you along the Landstrasse to the citys main square. You will see St. Marys Cathedral, the Marian Column, Landestheatre and St. Martins, the oldest church in Austria. Return to the ship for brunch. Or an other option is to visit the scenic Salzkammergut region, the Austrian Lake District, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the historic town of Gmunden, on the shore of Lake Traunsee. The third option is to join an excursion to the Czech town of Cesky Krumlov located close to the Austrian border. This is a wonderfully preserved medieval town, nestled in the hills just over the Austrian-Czech border. The fourth choice is a full day excursion to Salzburg, where you will take a walking tour of the historic center, famous as the setting for the Sound of Music and as the birthplace of Mozart. Enjoy free time on your own, before returning to the ship. (B,L,D)

Day 7 PASSAU, GERMANY - VILSHOFEN
Early this morning, cruise through Upper Austria to Passau in Germany, located at the confluence of three rivers, the In and Ilz and the Danube. Your city tour takes you on an exploration of this fairy-tale city founded more than 2,000 years ago. Highlights include St. Stephans Cathedral, home to the largest cathedral organ in the world. You also have an option to take a guided bike tour along the shore to the nearby town of Eerlau or climb up the hill to the old fortress with excellent views of the rivers and towns below. In  the afternoon we sail to Vilshofen, a charming 1200-year-old Bavarian town where the Vils and the Danube meet. There, you'll enjoy Oktoberfest -type celebration with local food, beer, Bavarian folk music and dance.(B,L,D)

Day 8 VILSHOFEN - DISEMBARKATION - REGENSBURG - MUNICH
This morning, disembark your ship at Vilshofen, and depart for Munich. Stop at the BMW World Museum whre you will have free time for lunch followed by a tour of the BMW complex. An other option is to visit Nymphernburg palace, the summer residenc of Bvarian kings. Transfer to Munich, the capital of Bavaria. Located north of the Bavarian Alps on the river Isar, Munich is Germanys third-largest city. With a history that dates back to the middle Ages, Munich is an important industrial, educational and cultural center. It is also famous for its breweries, beer gardens and attractions such as Oktoberfest. We will participate in a panoramic tour of Munich before checking itnto our hotel for overnight. (B)
Day 9 MUNICH
This morning, enjoy a panoramic tour of Munich followed by a walking tour of the Old Town. Begin at the town center where you can see the famous Glockenspiel at Munichs New Town Hall and the Frauenkirche, the Cathedral of Our Lady. The afternoon is free for you to explore Munich on your own. (B)
Day 10 MUNICH
Day at lesire or book in advance a full day excursion that  begins with a scenic drive through the Bavarian Alps to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, King Ludwig's dream castle, the most visited picture-perfect monument of Germany. The palace was built in the 19th century by Mad King Ludwig II of Bavaria, as an homage to the grandiose operas of composer Richard Wagner. After a tour of the castle, visit Fussen, Bavaria's highest town, known for St. Mangs Abbey, where you will have free time for lunch on your own before returning to Munich. (B)
Day 11 DEPART MUNICH
After breakfast end of services. Extension for tours to different parts of Germany possible. (B)

An other option is to continue to Prague from Vilshofen instead of Munich.
