Douro river cruise in Portugal

We will start our journey in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, one of Europe's most atmospheric major cities, like Rome, built around the several hills along the River Tagus. We'll drive north to the banks of the Douro River Valley, to the capital of North Portugal, Porto, famed for the world's finest fortified wine the Port Wine. Cruising Eastward through picturesque villages and steep terraced vineyards we cross the remote countryside of the Trs-os-Montes Region of Spain to visit Salamanca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located at the center of the Castilla y Len region. We'll also stop at the ancient city of Lamego, before concluding your vacation in historic Porto an other UNESCO World Heritage site.
