Previously the Centraal Hotel, the Barbizon's history is linked with the
1928 Olympics; its rooms were originally built to house the athletes during the games.
Since then, renovations have linked the singles into well-equipped doubles and the windows
have been double-glazed to block out the noise from the nearby Leidseplein. Services
include conference facilities, restaurant and bar.
