Cruise and land program - 6 days/5 overnights  with 3nights cruise - 2013

Day 1 Wednesday:  Arrival in Athens

Arrival and transfer from the airport to the hotel in Athens. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 Thursday:  Optional Athens Morning Sightseeing  (Euro 68 per person)

Day at leisure or optional Panoramic tour of Athens: Constitution Square (Syntagma), the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the National Library. Driving down Herod Atticus Street, you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the Presidential Palace. On your way to the Acropolis you will see the Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus and you will make a short stop at the Panathenean Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896. On the Acropolis visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechteion and the Parthenon. After Acropolis we will visit the New Acropolis Museum.
 Overnight in Athens.
 

Day 3 Friday:  Cruising - Mykonos: 

Morning transfer to the port of Piraeus and embarkation on your luxury ship, sail at 11h00.
Arrival in Mykonos, widely known as the Greek St. Tropez. White and glistering scattered with windmills and 365 churches. The ship arrives at 18h00 and sets sail again at 23h00. Full board.

Day 4  Saturday:  Cruising - Kusadasi/Patmos: 

At 07h00 arrival in Kusadasi, a popular Turkish resort with a rich and varied past. Visit Ephesus, an ancient Greek city founded in the 8th century B.C. Almost the whole city has been intact excavated.
At 16h00 arrival in Patmos, a calm island known as the site where St. John wrote the Revelation. Visit the 11th cenutry monastery, which crowns the island. Full board. (see optional shore excursions)

Day 5 – Sunday : Cruising – Santorini
In 2013 - Arrival in Crete (Heraklion) at 7am - depart at 1130am to Santorini. Arrive in Santorini at 430pm and depart at 9pm.

Day 6 – Monday : Cruising – Piraeus/ Athens – Departure
The ship enters the port of Piraeus at 07h00. Disembarkation and transfer to the airport for your flight or optional extra night stay in Athens.
