DAY 1: SUNDAY
arrival at Frankfurt airport from
where you will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is leisure to
recover from jet lag or getting to know the city, the financial and commercial
center of Germany. At 7 pm you will meet your guide at the hotel followed by a
welcome dinner at the hotel. Accommodation at the Hotel Mövenpick Frankfurt
Day 2. MONDAY
Frankfurt – Heidelberg - Black Forest
Today we enter the Black Forest, a region known not only for its delicious cake
and the wooden cuckoo clocks but also for its spectacular landscapes. The first
stop is Heidelberg, one of Europe's oldest University towns with fantastic
views above the Neckar river. Ascending by cable car you will visit
the inner courtyard of the impressive castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We continue to the famous Black Forest region. This night we will have an
authentic experience: Enjoy a typical Black Forest dinner and overnight in a
romantically located hotel. If you like, take a little walk to the beautiful
Ravenna Gorge or see the region’s oldest chapel, both are next to the hotel.

Day 3 / TUESDAY
Black Forest - Lake Titisee
- Lindau - Füssen
After breakfast we will visit a cuckoo clock
shop where you will be introduced to the secret f the famous cuckoo clock
making. We continue to a small traditional Black Forest farm where we will
have a cheese tasting to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of the
real Black Forest. Drive to Lake Titi (Titisee), nestled in the
forest, then continue the tour to Beautiful Lindau at Lake Constance,
famous for its many half-timbered houses and medieval atmosphere.
From the shores of Lake Constance you will have spectacular views of the
Alps. Depending on weather conditions we will take the Alpine road from
Lindau to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt to our final destination Füssen, the
southernmost point on our tour of Romantic Germany and the Romantic Road. Accommodation at the
Day 4 / WEDNESDAY
Neuschwanstein – Wieskirche -
Oberammergau – Linderhof - Innsbruck
We start the day with a
visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, Germany's most picturesque castle built by
tragic fairy-tale king, King Ludwig II. of Bavaria. After visit to the
castle we travel to Oberammergau.
The village is internationally known for its Passion Play – generally
performed every ten years – and for its numerous buildings with tromp l'oeil
(Lueftlmalerei) painted façades. Along the way we visit the Rococco
Wieskirche Church, a UNESCO World Heritage building before continuing the
tour to visit Linderhof Castle, an other jewel of castles built by the "Mad
King". This is the castle where King Ludwig spent most of his adult life.
After a brief stop at the Ettal Benedictine Abbey we continue to our final
destination, Innsbruck crossing the border to Austria. Accommodation at the
Hotel Grauer Bär****.
Day 5 / THURSDAY Innsbruck - Munich
In the morning
we enjoy a sightseeing tour of Innsbruck (Austria), located in the Inn
valley, a charming town from the Middle Ages at the foot of the Alps and an
important ski resort. In the afternoon we travel to Munich. Accommodation at
the Holiday Inn Munich Center****.
Day 6 / FRIDAY Munich
We start today's program with
a city tour of Munich to view the main attractions, concluding Marienplatz
square with its famous clock tower. Munich, the capital of the state of
Bavaria is famous for its Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in
September. Rest of the day is free for own activities. In the evening we
treat you to a traditional Bavarian dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7 / SATURDAY Munich - Rothenburg ob der
Tauber - Frankfurt
After breakfast we travel to Rothenburg ob
der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful Medieval cities on the
Romantic Road of Germany. Sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town
concluding with a Schneeballen (snow ball) tasting, a pastry considered the
signature dish of Rothenburg. Return to Frankfurt. The program ends at
Frankfurt airport, around 6 pm.
