Day 2. Morning city tour of Amsterdam (Euro 44), the capital of the Netherlands. You will see its most important buildings and monuments and learn much about the city's history. After enjoy cruising through its scenic canals. The ship leaves Amsterdam at midday and cruises south along the Amsterdam Rijnkanaal through the southern Holland landscape to the old Hanseatic city of Nijmegen. In the evening there’ll be a typical Dutch folklore show on board.

Day 3. This morning you cruise on the Rhine and arrive in Cologne in the early afternoon. Take part of the optional guided city walk (Euro 16) of this city, which was founded by the Romans and has been an important trading centre for many hundreds of years. Day 4. Early morning arrival in Koblenz. Take part of an optional  walking tour (Euro 15) and visit the highlights of this city, which stands at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle. Later in the morning the ship continues towards Rüdesheim, along what is probably the most famous and scenic stretch of the Rhine, passing hilltop castles, terraced vineyards and attractive riverside villages. Arrive in Rüdesheim in the afternoon. This charming old wine town is very popular with its narrow street, lined on both sides with wine taverns. Join a walking tour (Euro 21) here, including a visit to Siegfried’s Music Museum, which displays all kinds of mechanical musical instruments from barrel organs and music boxes to horn gramophones. The ship departs from Rudesheim in the early evening.

altars and the library. Listen to a short organ recital in the abbey church. Then drive through the picturesque scenery to Dürnstein, one of the best-known wine villages in the Wachau. At the end of the tour we invite you to have a glass of wine at a local restaurant. During lunch the ship continues downstream to Vienna (Austria’s capital), arrival in the evening. After dinner on board you can take our “Vienna at night” (Euro 35) excursion on which you drive through the Wienerwald to the Kahlenberg, Vienna’s best viewpoint, with a view of the city over vineyards. parts: Buda and Pest, built on opposite banks of the Danube.
